Fugue: The Fire

After a Prelude, often follows a Fugue.

So... After Kyed's drawing about his background ("Prelude: The Mark" => ) ... Here I'm with Ria and a drawing about her past story.

This is set in the period in which Ria, teenager, is studying to become a Druid. She was the pupil of the High Druid, a model student and the most talented and promising. The only "problem" is that Ria is also the only female ever admitted to the courses, strongly desired by the High Druid himself, who, to enable her to enter in the Druid's order has even questioned his own office. But Ria had a potential that the others had not.
So Ria immediately arouses the envy and hostility of all students. And so she must endure their hate, their jokes, their teasing and even sabotage. They often hide her notebooks and books, putting her always in trouble. So during the night, Ria is forced to study in secret, in a safe place...

"The Fire" 'cause Druids are studying powers of the four elements and the fire is the most congenial and connected with Ria.


I entirely drawn it with 1B pencil, and though the anatomy is not perfect, I'm very proud 'cause I didn't use any photo references. Not satisfied of her hands, but satisfied of her foot!!!
