Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Hi!!! I'm still alive!!

Well... Currently I'm very busy and I apologize for my inactivity... :sad: I miss you, DA friends, and I miss the DeviantArt daily activities I was used to!! ç__ç
I'm still painting the walls in the shop. It's a very long and tiring job, but I love it and I'm pretty satisfied of the results (and the commisioner too, fortunately xD). Anyway I just finished the 3rd wall, and I have 3 more to paint. I'll publish photoes as soon as possible!

Additionally, I'm working hard also with cruises, so... this is the 4th week I don't have one single day of rest!! xD And I also started hydrobike two weeks ago!!! Ahahaha! @__@''' It's a very busy time, don't you think?

By the way, I really hope I'll be able to finish the shop in two weeks, but don't worry!!! I didn't forget about my judge role in the Hero contest! I started voting for categoryu and... To tell you the truth it's very very hard!! I love ALL the entries! They're all so beauty and expressive!!

I think choose just one winner per category and one final winner will be more than hard!!! >.<°°°
